Ike Kinswa State Park was our first stop and we had the place pretty much to ourselves and the quiet was broken only by an occasional "goose flyover", evening frog seranade and an annoying crow. This park is a keeper and would love to return.
Very nice bunch of pictures. I'm a fan of close up photography but I have to say the one I liked the most was that mammoth hunk of drift wood. It looked like a surreal sculptor by a manic artist.
Between volunteering and belonging to fraternal organizations retirement is a heck of a lot busier than when we were working. Scheduling a trip is hard work, so we promised each other 2010 we will head out for a full year, coming home only to check out Sumo and for those doctors appointments. Until then:
