Ocotillo flower

 

I'm sure these are the tiniest daisys in the world, See below. I had to be very careful where I stepped as I didn't want to crush them.

Went to the Living Desert in Palm Desert on Sunday and it was wonderful. The weather was in the mid 80ies and I think I got a little burn.

While in Pasadena, I stopped at the LA arboretum. It was wonderful, and I have to go back.

 

 

 

Ive seen Cape Myrtle, but never trunks like this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adobe cabin currently being restored.

 

Had the long lense on the camera and couldn't get far enough away to get it all in one shot. You couldn't go inside but you could peep in the windows at the period furniture and costumes.
